FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Ordering & Parts
How do I know a part will fit my vehicle?
Each listing includes the donor vehicle's make, model, year, and where available, VIN and part reference numbers. Please check the part number on your existing component against the listing, and review the photos carefully before ordering. If you're unsure whether a part is compatible, contact us with your vehicle registration or VIN and we'll be happy to confirm before you buy.
Are your parts tested before being listed?
Wherever possible, we test parts before removal and listing. Some parts are sold as untested/as-seen/spares or repair where testing isn't possible — this will be noted in the listing description.
What condition are the parts in?
All parts are genuine, used parts recovered from donor vehicles during dismantling. They are inspected and assessed before listing. Photos and condition notes in each listing reflect the actual part you'll receive.
Do you have a physical yard I can visit or collect from?
Yes — we're based in Lydney, Gloucestershire. Contact us to arrange collection or to ask about visiting.
Warranty
Do your parts come with a warranty?
Yes. All parts come with a 30-day warranty as standard from the date of delivery, covering the cost of the part itself.
Does the warranty cover labour or fitting costs?
No. Our warranty covers the part only — it does not cover labour, fitting, removal, diagnostic costs, or any other charges incurred in fitting the part.
Do engines and gearboxes have different warranty terms?
Yes. Engines and gearboxes are supplied drained of oil — the correct oil must be added before starting or testing. The timing belt/chain must be replaced prior to fitting. Units must be fitted by a qualified mechanic, and dated photo or video evidence of the unit at removal from packaging and during installation is compulsory for any warranty claim — claims without this evidence cannot be accepted. Full details are on our [Warranty and Returns page].
What voids the warranty?
Unauthorised alterations, incorrect fitting, failure to replace the timing belt (engines), starting an engine without oil, or fitting by a non-qualified person can all invalidate the warranty.
