• Car dismantler

    We are seeking a skilled Dismantler to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with both hand and power tools. As a Dismantler, you will be responsible for disassembling various components and ensuring that all parts are handled safely and efficiently. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

    Responsibilities

    Dismantle equipment and machinery using appropriate hand tools and power tools.
    Inspect components for damage or wear, ensuring quality standards are met.
    Sort and categorise dismantled parts for reuse or recycling.
    Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
    Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
    Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.


    Experience

    Proven mechanical knowledge is essential for success in this role.
    Experience using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers is required.
    Familiarity with power tools including drills, saws, and grinders is advantageous.
    Previous experience in a similar dismantling or assembly role is preferred but not mandatory.
    A strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately are crucial for this position.

  • Warehouse Operative

    This is an exciting opportunity to join our team , professional car breaker and parts recyclers based in Lydney, Gloucestershire.
    A good working knowledge experience of motor vehicles would be a distinct advantage, along with spare parts experience.

    The primary duties of the role will include:

    Quality control of spare parts, locating and picking of parts, loading parts into shelves and other basic warehouse duties.

    Wrapping and packaging up spare parts for delivery .

    Assisting the warehouse team with locating, picking and preparing spare parts for delivery or postage

    You will also assist the warehouse team to carry out other associated warehouse duties, organizing the goods in and out area.


    A forklift truck license would be a distinct advantage, but full training will be provided if needed.

    The successful candidate must be reliable, enthusiastic and comfortable working in a busy fast-moving environment.
